Thirty Acres in Jersey City used to serve an a la carte menu. Dinner for two would cost about $125 after tax and tip (but before wine). Then in February it went tasting menu only. Dinner now costs $190 for two. Add on wine pairings and you’re at $330. That’s a heck of a hike. But does it work? It sure does. I award THREE STARS in my review for Eater! And there’s also a cheaper a la carte bar menu for walk-ins, FYI. (Photo: Paul Crispin Quitoriano/Eater).
