Daniel, one of five three-Michelin starred restaurants in NYC, has raised the price of its eight-course menu by $15 to $220, its six-course tasting $10 to $195 and its three-course by $3 to $108. Prices have remained relatively stable over the past two years at the four-star New York Times spot. The three-course menu was still $105 when Frank Bruni reviewed Daniel Boulud’s fancy French flagship in January 2009, a price point that remained until this past week or so (the six-course tasting was $175 when Bruni filed and was $185 most of the past year). Based on my last meal at Daniel, this is still a STRONG BUY. Related: Boulud is the only chef in the world to play good music on his website. You know it.
