DEAR PRICE HIKERS: Welcome to our newest weekly feature, THE MENU DOCTOR!

Whenever we’re so inclined, we’ll be doctoring menus to show what your meal will cost after off-menu supplements, wine, tax & tip. 

We’re starting with Torrisi Italian Specialties because that fine Nolita restaurant is the MONSTER JAM (that’s a compliment). Torrisi is kind enough to update its online menu every week. But since the excellent restaurant doesn’t really have Twitter, Tumblr or Facebook accounts, we at The Price HIke will do our best to show the new menus to the social media community — with a few signature Price Hike nips and tucks. Of course, we hope Torrisi starts rockin the Tumblr & Twitter scene soon enough. Restaurant price transparency, as always, is a big part of what we do here at The Hike, and it’s also a key driving factor behind our “Most Excellent Menu Contest.”
