The Price Hike is holding a “Most Excellent Menu Contest!” to get more restaurants to join Tumblr. Why? Because we want more restaurants to join Tumblr. That’s why.
Is there any better way of incentivizing Americans to do anything than by holding a contest? Okay, okay, money is probably a better way. Unfortunately, we have very little money. So, we’re running with the contest.

Here’s How It Works: If you’re a restaurant, go join Tumblr, then publish or link to your menus on Tumblr. It’s that simple. Takes about 5 minutes. If it’s any good, we’ll show you a little love. If it’s really good, you might WIN.
Here’s The Deal: If you can afford to print out your menus for daily dinner service, which takes time and costs money, you can afford to post your menus on Tumblr, which takes no time and costs no money. Sure, some prefer Twitter. Others prefer Facebook. But why ignore Tumblr, with its 65 million blogs and 27.6 billion posts?
As part our contest, we at The Price Hike will be highlighting awesome restaurants with awesome Tumblrs over the next two months. Gotta spread the love, right? But we’ll also be highlighting restaurants with no online menus or prices, or restaurants with non-iPhone compatible websites.
Gotta use some peer pressure too.
Tumblr is an awesome way for restaurants and bars to create a conversation around menus, prices, and daily specials. And Tumblr is one of the easiest ways for diners to curate (and get a curated feed about) what’s going on at their favorite places to eat. It’s most definitely a GOOD DEAL and a STRONG BUY.
So without further adieu, here are the delicious contest details:
