New York’s Most Expensive Chicken Is Now Even More Expensive. By One Dollar.

The NoMad in Manhattan, since its spring debut, had been serving what is likely New York’s most expensive chicken, at $78. It is also likely New York’s best chicken. Foie gras and truffles are involved. It feeds two and costs $101 after tax and 20 percent tip. Pardon, used to cost.

The NoMad hiked its price. By a buck.

The chicken now costs $79. That comes to $102 after tax and tip. Is it still a STRONG BUY? We believe it is, but consider yourself invited to dissent in the comments. And of course, we’ll be watching the price of this fine fowl closely. For further reading, see my Bloomberg News review of The NoMad, The Pete Wells NYT review, or some extra Price Hike thoughts.
