Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor

Noma, Rene Redzepi’s avant-garde bastion of New Nordic cuisine, is now serving just a single 20-course menu, at 1500 DKK ($252 USD). Wine pairings are 950 DKK ($159). Previously, the restaurant offered two menus, 7-courses at 1195 DKK and 12-courses at 1495 DKK. When we reported on Noma’s last price hike to 1495 DKK, that worked out to $283 USD, so with this year’s stronger U.S. dollar, American diners are getting an even better deal when they fly on over to Copenhagen.
Given Noma’s status as a two-Michelin starred destination, and given its continued presence at the top of San Pellegrino list of World’s Best Restaurants, we’ll keep Redzepi’s restaurant at a STRONG BUY. Good luck getting a resy.
